Our site is private, secluded, has a clubhouse with showers and a picnic area. | Gales Ferry Marina is minutes from the mouth of the picturesque Thames River with easy access to all of Long Island Sound. Most of our state boaters love the convenience of being near both the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort casinos. |

| Using a 35-ton Acme Hoist, owner Jim Lewis guides your vessel with over 35 years of expert boat handling and blocking. We store both sailboats and powerboats up to 45 feet. Sailboat masts are unstepped and stepped from a barge located in the Thames River. |
| We are an open yard and allow boaters to work on their own boats. Although we offer complete winter servicing and shrink wrapping, you can do your own winterizing work. |
| The cove is a protected marine basin which is located 20 minutes north from the mouth of the Thames River and 25 minutes south of Norwich Harbor. |
